Suicide: How Montana Can Help
Suicide has become a growing concern as many have become isolated or are going through tough times due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. But did you ever think there was a way you could help?
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention has allowed trainers to take the Introduction to Suicide Prevention/Awareness Training virtually. This means you can participate from the comfort of your own home.
The hour-long community based presentation will cover:
- The General Scope of Suicide
- The Research on Prevention
- What People Can Do to Fight Suicide
- Learning the Risk & Warning Signs of Suicide and How to Prevent It
There are several sessions available to accommodate any schedule. Montana has a big goal of training 300 individuals in suicide prevention in the next 30 days.
