Grand Opening of Meat Shop in Livingston

Diamond N Meats, a new meat shop in Livingston, will officially open its doors for business on Saturday. Dave & Ally from the XL Morning Show will be broadcasting live from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. To celebrate their grand opening on Saturday Diamond N Meats will raffle off 1/4 Bison (worth over $1,500) and be giving away prizes, swag, and jerky. The new meat shop will be located next to Taco Johns in the old Livingston Meats location at 206 S. 11th St #6 at Livingston. Hyalite Firefighters Pancakes

A pancake breakfast for the Hyalite Firefighters will be on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4541 S. 3rd Ave. in Bozeman.  This year the Hyalite Firefighters plan to do things a little different due to COVID-19 and won't be able to host the traditional kids activities.   Breakfast will be served with social distancing and sanitizing procedures in place.  Details here.

MSU Caturday

MSU Homecoming week wraps up with Caturday! It all starts with a virtual BroadCATS on Saturday 11 a.m. Watch as they broadcast from Bobcat Stadium an ESPN gameday spin-off. The special will feature former Voice of the Cats, Tyler Wiltgen, former Bobcat Football player, Ben Fjare, and Montana's Voice of Agriculture, Lane Nordlund. MAGA Drag the Interstate Rally

Join patriots in a nationwide effort on Saturday to display patriotism and support for candidates on the Republican ticket. Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles and show their pride with American flags, signs, and banners. They will be meeting in Belgrade on Saturday morning. They will wait for the Billings patriots to join and will then head to the Helena rally point. More details and register here.

Meat Sale at the Gallatin Valley Mall

Join Jesse James from 100.7 XL Country at the Fishers of Men Foods Sale on Saturday, September 26th from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m for a live radio broadcast. They'll have T-Bones, Fillets, New York Strip, and more! More details here.

Bozeman Winter Farmers Market

The Bozeman Farmers Market at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Shop homemade items, local veggies, meats, cheeses, breads, preserves, honey, soaps and more.

Local Drive-In Movies:

Due to COVID-19, many events are canceled and weekends look very different. Thankfully, there still are a few things going on!  Drive-In movies have made a comeback and several have popped up around the Bozeman area.  Below are a few of the local drive-ins and what they have planned this weekend.

Belgrade Drive-In

Friday Movie: Harry and the Hendersons

Time: Friday. Gates at 7 pm Movie starts at dark.

Saturday Movie: Vacation

Time: Saturday. Gates at 7 pm Movie starts at dark.

Details: Hosted by the Belgrade Vitality Group. Lawn chairs are welcome.

Location: Bubby's Burger Barn off Jackrabbit in Belgrade at 403 Jackrabbit Ln.

Admission: $5 per person or $20 per carload.

Concessions: Bubby's Burger Barn will be serving. They'll also have milkshakes, popcorn, snow cones, candy.

 


Earlier this year, on Flag Day the Gallatin County Republicans held a Patriot Parade. Despite the bad weather, over 1,000 people participated in the parade in some 700 vehicles.  The parade started on Main Street in Bozeman, continuing to Belgrade, Manhattan, and finishing in Three Forks.  In addition, dozens also joined on horseback.

People lined the route to offer encouragement and support. See the pictures below.
