Popular In-N-Out Announces Expansion, Is Montana On The List?
Every time we have a discussion about different businesses we would like to see come to Montana, it seems some businesses are more popular than others. In fact, three come to mind.
People living in Montana would love to see Trader Joe's, a few more Chick-fil-A's, and In-N-Out Burger make their way to The Treasure State.
These popular franchises are beloved, have a huge following, and would more than likely do very well here in Montana, but it seems that with the exception of Chick-fil-A, the other two don't have any plans to come to the state. Or maybe they do...at least one of them anyway.
In-N-Out which is based in California has been expanding over the last few years and is just announced that they're going to continue doing so. The popular burger chain has been making delicious burgers, fries, and shakes for more than 70 years.
Currently, In-N-Out has distribution centers located in California, Arizona, Utah, Texas, and Colorado. Right now, the franchise has locations in California, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, and Oregon
However, the news is that In-N-Out plans a major expansion into Tennessee and Idaho.
The announcement of the Tennessee distribution center means that surrounding states will soon be able to order Double Double's in the near future, so if the plans are to build a center in Idaho, you would think that Montana would certainly be on In-N-Out's radar, right? Plus, throw in the fact that so many folks from California have moved here in the last few years certainly can't hurt our chances.
Of course, the question is, if In-N-Out were to come to Montana, which Montana city should they expand to? Billings is the biggest city in the state, and Missoula is the most western and not far from the Idaho border, so both of those locations make sense.
Then there is Bozeman which is quickly growing and has hundreds of thousands of tourists every year, so a Bozeman In-N-Out location might be the best option for the state.
