Pics From Montana Freedom Convoy 2022. Were You There?
The Freedom Convoy made its way through Montana yesterday, stopping in Belgrade around 730 pm. The plans were for them to be there between 4 and 6 pm, but I, along with hundreds of other people realized pretty quickly, that was not an accurate time frame. I was a bit concerned that, because they were so far behind schedule, people would trickle off. But nope! Not Montanan's.
The pride for America was lining the exits, the ditches between the road, and any space that could be filled. From flags, big and small, to shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and of course, horses. You can't have an American pride-filled event, without horses and flags. But that is what makes Montana one of the most desirable places to live. They love America, they love their freedom, and they love their community.
I was amazed at all of the ages at the Freedom Convoy. From infant to historic war veterans, this was a place for peaceful gathering, and that is exactly what it was. People laughing, supporting the cause, and "talking about the good ol days". In the last couple of years, a protest/rally like this, I personally think, would have never happened like this. No matter your political stance, the Freedom Convoy showed pure love for a country. I think anyone who lives in this country can support that.
I was there for over 6 hours, and many were there even longer, but never did they think twice about leaving. They came there to support the truckers on this humbling mission they are on, and they were not going to go home early. Cold, dark, and windy, it's clear, Montana Loves America.
