What does Montana and Ozzy Osbourne have in common? Probably not a whole lot, until now.  One is known for mountains, cowboy boots, and wide open spaces. The other is a music legend who helped shape heavy metal. But thanks to a pretty wild discovery, Montana and the Prince of Darkness are now officially connected.

Montana has a long reputation for turning up jaw dropping dinosaur fossils, especially in the Hell Creek Formation. One of those discoveries is a massive Triceratops skull that now goes by the name “Ozzy," according to Louder Sound. The fossil dates back roughly 68 to 66 million years ago and was found right here in Montana before being sent overseas for restoration.
The skull was carefully restored by a paleontology lab in Italy, and the work wrapped up shortly after Ozzy Osbourne passed away last summer.  The fossil is set to be displayed publicly at a large gem and mineral show in Tucson, where it will definitely turn some heads.
"The fossilised Triceratops skull (the scientific term Triceratops, from ancient Greek, literally means “three-horned face”) instantly evokes the gesture of the horns," Geoworld Paleontological Laboratory.

When they put it that way it actually makes sense. Triceratops is famous for its three horns, which naturally bring to mind the classic rock hand gesture seen at countless Ozzy and Black Sabbath concerts.
