The Gallatin City-County Health Department has extended until April 3rd their order to close all bars & restaurants. The original order issued on Monday was through March 24th. The restaurants in Gallatin County are able to still offer drive-thru or takeout service, but dinning rooms must remain closed.

The closure was also extended to include:

  • gyms
  • theaters
  • fitness facilities
  • athletic centers
  • workout studios
  • paintball parlors
  • ice skating rinks
  • indoor climbing venues
  • trampoline parks
  • indoor sporting arenas
  • cinemas

In a press release issued before the Health Department's meeting Wednesday afternoon, Matt Kelley, Health Officer with the Gallatin City-County Health Department stated, “As Health Officer, my recommendation to the Board of Health will be to adopt the rule in order to address the ongoing public health emergency and to limit spread of COVID-19 in order to protect the public health and our health care system. In my view, now is the time to act to slow spread and flatten the curve.”

Let's show our support for these local restaurants. Please join us for Operation Takeout on Friday. We're asking everyone to order takeout either for breakfast, lunch, or dinner on Friday. Details below.
