According to Google, the tallest mountain in Montana is Granite Peak.
Granite Peak is located in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness and is located in Park County in the south-central part of the state. Granite Peak is the 10th-tallest mountain in the United States, with a peak of 12,807 feet.
According to sources, Granite Peak was the last of the big mountains to be climbed in Big Sky Country, with a group of men reaching the top back in August of 1923. The mountain is considered to be one of the most difficult to climb due to the weather and other factors.
