Who Would Montanans Pick For A Super Halftime Show?
It has been announced that the Halftime Show at the big game this year will feature none other than Bad Bunny.
Now, while many of you know who he is, many of you don't, and that's ok. I had no clue who he was, nor do I know any of his songs, but let's be honest, I'm a middle-aged man. I'm a lock to watch the game, so the halftime show isn't for me. The halftime show is all about drawing in a crowd, so in order to do that, promoters tend to go for the younger, hipper audience, which means they go with younger and hipper talent.
In case you didn't know, Roc Nation is in charge of who plays the halftime show.

Oh, and Roc Nation is owned by Jay Z. The same Jay Z who is married to Beyoncé. So, for those Montanans holding out for a good old country halftime show will probably be waiting for a while. (Although Beyoncé did win a Grammy for Best Country Album)
According to TMZ, it seems a petition is going around to have Bad Bunny replaced by George Strait.
Strait, who is well into his 70s, has never been known as one to "entertain". Now, let's be honest, the dude is amazing. He has had over 50 number one hits and everyone loves him, but if you're going to go country, wouldn't you have to go with someone a little younger and a little more...energetic?
Who would Montanans pick for the big game's halftime show?
It won't come as a surprise that there were several different answers; however, some of the more popular were:
- Taylor Swift
- Jelly Roll
- Garth Brooks
- Luke Combs
- Metallica
I'm ok with all of those, although I think both Jelly Roll and Luke Combs would need a collaborator or two. Also, I'm not opposed to mixing and matching different musical styles. What about Bad Bunny AND George Strait?
Yeah, I don't like that idea either
