Montana is the 4th Best State for Singles
Did you know that over 45% of U.S. adults are single? If you are single on Valentine's Day you're not alone, especially if you're in Montana. WalletHub recently released a report on 2017's Best & Worst States for Being Single.
In the report, Montana ranks #4 overall. Here's a breakdown of their statistics:
- 3rd – Gender Balance of Singles
- 4th – Restaurants per Capita
- 2nd – Movie Theaters per Capita
- 26th – Crime Rate
- 14th – Unemployment Rate for Single Population
- 11th – Average Beer & Wine Price
- 29th – Movie Costs
In the "Romance & Fun" category, Montana ranks #2 in the country. I'm pretty sure the stargazing in Montana is #1. According to this statistic, the median age in Bozeman is 27.5, and that's mostly due to the fact that Bozeman is a college town. With that being said, mid to late 20's is prime dating age.
So, if you're single this Valentine's Day, don't sweat it. You and I are in the same boat, and let's be honest; being single in Montana is not that bad.
