Patagucci and Cowboys: The Breakdown of Bozeman Style
If you've been in Bozeman long enough, you've probably noticed a few fashion trends that unite the community. Whether it's a local rancher grabbing a coffee, a fly fisher headed to the river, or a visiting tech worker trying to "blend in", Bozeman style is both practical and iconic.
Here's the breakdown of the Bozeman Fashion

1.) Patagonia / Patagucci
I'd like to call this brand the unofficial sponsor of Bozeman fashion. Whether it's jackets, vests, or pullovers, you will run into this brand around every corner.
What this says about you... You love the outdoors, you're slightly bougie, and you definitely know your latte order by heart.
2.) Cowboy Boots
You're in Montana. There's no doubt gonna be people wearing cowboy boots. There are two very distinct things to know about this classic western wear.
There are bona fide cowboys, and then there are the out-of-towners who just stepped off the plane and made a beeline to the nearest Western wear store. If you decide to go full western, make sure you scuff them up a little or kick some dirt on them to not give yourself away too fast.
3.) Yoga Pants or Carhartt's
Whichever pants path calls to you, it's appropriate anywhere in town. Yoga pants dominate the local coffee shops and trails, while Carhartt's are just as acceptable at the dinner table and the field. Both are functional, totally different, yet live in harmony in Bozeman.
4.) Fly Fisher or Somone Who's Allergic to The Sun
Fly fishing gear isn't just for the riverbanks; it's everyday wear in Bozeman. It's common to see people wearing long-sleeve shirts, pants, and Chacos while walking around town in the middle of summer. I like to call this style "fishing fashion."
This gear is designed to protect anglers from the sun, but if you're not used to seeing it, you might think they are crazy for being completely covered in hot temperatures.
