World Famous Singer/Songwriter Fishes In Montana

I don't know about you, but it seems like some celebrities fit right in here in Montana.

I know that many folks are not pleased with the "rich and famous" spending time here in Big Sky Country, but it feels like there are certain folks who can come here, enjoy themselves, and we're completely fine with it.

I bring this up because one of the greatest singer/songwriters in the history of music just posted himself fly fishing here in Montana. While there wasn't a whole lot of details on the social media post, James Taylor mentioned he was enjoying some catch and release fly fishing on a Montana river.

Of course, he doesn't mention the river, however, the post does include video and still photography of the multi-time Grammy Award Winner and Rock And Roll Hall of Famer.

Taylor, who has been on the scene since 1970 is a Senior Statesman in the world of music, however, that doesn't keep him from continuing to make music and tour. In the social media post, Taylor mentions that he was participating in a rare day off before heading to Virginia to resume touring.

Taylor, who rose to fame after his hit "Fire and Rain" has penned and sung several songs considered to be the background of a generation. Hits like How Sweet It Is, Sweet Baby James, Carolina In My Mind, and many others.

It's my understanding that James Taylor is a fan of Montana and this is certainly not the first time he has enjoyed our outdoors. I certainly can't speak for everyone, but Mr. Taylor, feel free to come back anytime you want.
