For those of us of a certain age, the idea of nuclear war isn't anything new.

Many of us grew up during the '60s, '70s, and 80's when we had drills in schools (by the way, in case of a nuclear war, I'm not sure the best action is to hide underneath your desk) And who could ever forget the made-for-TV movie "The Day After" that frightened an entire generation of youth?

If you've spent time watching the news or following "news" websites over the last several months, then you are more than aware that we're back to the "what if there was a nuclear war" talk.

Well, one website took it a step further, they came out with a list of the Top 15 Cities That Are Likely A Target For  Nuclear Attack and one Montana city made the list. Of course, cities that you'd think would make the list did, huge metropolitan areas like New York City, Los Angeles, ChicagoSan Francisco, Houston, and Seattle were named targets, but there were some small cities as well.

Cities like Omaha, Colorado Springs, Ogden, and Cheyenne also made the Top 15.

So which Montana town also made the list? That would be the city of Great Falls. Great Falls of course is home to Malmstrom Air Force Base which is also home to the 341st Missile Wing of the Air Force Global Strike Command. In layman's terms, it means we have a lot of missiles with nuclear warheads in the state.

The same goes for Wyoming and North Dakota so it certainly shouldn't come as a surprise that this area would be considered a target. So, for those of you who are afraid of nuclear annihilation, Montana might not be the best spot to call home.
