The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City is a long time tradition that is known for it's elaborate floats and character balloons.  This year is extra special because our local Manhattan High School Cheer Senior, Kelsey Myers, will be in the parade for a second year.

Kelsey applied and auditioned for Spirit of America Productions last year and was selected to perform.  She's been watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV since she was a little girl and always dreamed of seeing it in person.  After being in the parade last year she couldn't think of a better was to spend Thanksgiving again this year and be in world's largest parade!

She has traveled from our local Manhattan, MT to Manhattan, NY to rehearse for the parade, see the Rockettes, be on the Today's show and more.  Be sure to look for her in her white uniform with green poms and purple and green lettering in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
