The holidays can be a rough time for some.  Maybe it's the first one since a beloved family member passed away. Or maybe you've recently moved and don't know a whole lot of folks.

The last thing anyone should do is spend the holidays alone, and luckily for those of us here in the Gallatin Valley, we don't have to.

To say that the folks of the area are giving, would be an understatement. The area is filled with all kinds of local non-profits that give back to the community each day, however, during this time of the year, it has become a tradition for one business to host Thanksgiving Dinner for anyone who would like to attend.

For the last several years, the folks over at the Bozeman Real Estate Group have teamed up with Bourbon for the Miracle At Midtown. This free dinner is not only a way to say thanks, but it's a chance for those who might not have a place to go to feel a little holiday cheer.

In a press release, the folks at Bozeman Real Estate Group said the following:

“We welcome everyone to join us for Thanksgiving dinner, whether you are in need of companionship, a hot meal, or don’t have plans for the holiday, all are welcome.”

As mentioned, this has become a tradition and a chance for folks to break bread together, while enjoying a wonderful meal. It's also a reminder that there are a whole lot of people around Bozeman who love and care about their community and the people who live in it.

If that's not a reason to be thankful, I'm not sure what is.
