Brilliant Marketing Or Overly Offensive? Bozeman Billboard Turns Heads.
I miss the old days. The music, the friends, and the fact that not everyone was so easily offended.
I realize that we live in a different world now, and don't get me wrong, I think some of the "changes" that have been made were long overdue, but I just can't get past all of the Sensitive Sallys out there. You know who I'm talking about, the type of people who are offended by everything, and not only are they offended, but they feel the need to let all of us know they are offended.

One of the greatest things invented in the last 100 years is the internet. Also, one of the worst things invented in the last 100 years is...the internet.
Take social media, for example, now everyone has a platform to share their opinions. If you agree, it's wonderful; if you disagree, it's horrible, and it should be taken down, and that person should never be allowed to speak in public again!
The ironic part? Everyone is for Freedom of Speech until someone says or does something they disagree with. The Founding Fathers have to be rolling over in their graves.
I bring this up because the latest outrage is a Montana billboard located between Bozeman and Belgrade that has to do with real estate. Someone posted a picture of the billboard on the Facebook page "The Real Ask Bozeman" (which is a page of attention seekers, anonymous posters, and people just looking to fight behind a screen), and as expected, the billboard got a reaction.
Are Montanans too sensitive?
The billboard features a picture of a couple of realtors and states something to the effect of "We've sold 800 and some houses, your cousin has sold 2." Pretty clever, right? I mean, I thought it was, but apparently, in 2025, that's offensive.
I won't mention the name of the company, but they're reputable and successful, and have a pretty good marketing team, because the billboard is getting a ton of attention. So, the question I have for you is, is that offensive? I mean, they were simply stating that they are experts at what they do. How is that offensive?
Plus, if you were going to sell your house, wouldn't you want to pick the best people to sell it? I certainly would.

What are your thoughts? Offensive or great marketing? Would something like this bother you? Send us a text on our app and let us know your thoughts.
