Montana Ranks Near The Top For This Delicious Dish
As a foodie, I love not only eating food but talking about it. I'm one of those that watches the Food Network not only for ideas, but to check out some of the restaurants featured on the shows.
Here in Montana, we have all kinds of great restaurants that serve any and everything you could want. Many different places have been featured on TV and Social Media when it comes to the best of the best.
However, when it comes to one of America's favorite dishes, you don't have to look very far to find it.
Montana is one of the biggest producers of beef in the country and while some states may produce more than we do when it comes to quality, Montana ranks right up there with the best of them.
Ranching is a big business in Big Sky Country and according to one source, Montana is near the top for the best places to raise cattle. The website Medium revealed the best states for cattle ranching and Montana made the Top 3.

Where does Montana rank when it comes to beef?
According to the website, Montana is ranked third in the country. The two states above Montana are Kansas at #2 and Texas at #1. I take this a little personally as I have lived in all three states and find the beef in Montana superior to the other two.
The best burgers and steaks I've had have come from cattle raised in Montana. When I know that a restaurant serves Montana beef, I'm more likely to stop and eat there because I know I'm getting a top-notch product.
Luckily for Montanans, several of our restaurants serve Montana beef and we have many different butcher shops and meat processors that sell Montana beef to eat and enjoy at home.
Not to mention that agriculture is one of the biggest industries in the state, making up a huge part of the Montana economy. So, not only are you enjoying some of the best beef on the planet, but you're also helping fellow Montanans.
