Local Law Enforcement Still Negotiating With Man in Belgrade

UPDATE: The incident in Cobble Stone sub division has been resolved. There is no further threat to the public and residents may return to their homes. Further information will be released later today.

As of 6:20pm on Monday, Deputies with the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office and the Bozeman Police Department are still attempting to negotiate with a 31 year old male subject who has threatened to harm himself and others in Belgrade.

This incident began mid morning in the Cobble Stone subdivision west of Belgrade. Some families have been asked to stay away from their residences until the situation has been resolved.

The Sheriff's Office is asking that residents in the area be patient.
