The results of our local Roe Vs Wade poll are in. However, before we get to those, let's do a recap, shall we?

Last week someone "leaked" a report that the United States Supreme Court was going to potentially reverse Roe Vs Wade, which is one of the most historical court cases in the history of our country. ABC News did a poll and asked Americans if they would like to see Roe V Wade overturned or remain as it is.

Most Americans felt it best to leave the law in place and not overturn the ruling according to the ABC Poll.

So, that got me thinking a little bit.  We hear a lot about "Pro-Life" vs "Pro-Choice" and people are certainly passionate about their feelings when it comes to the subject.  In fact, I was driving home from Church on Sunday when I saw a group of folks here in Bozeman protesting in support of Roe Vs. Wade. However, typically Montana votes red and people who vote red tend to be more pro-life.

So, we created a poll and put it up on our social sites and asked Montanans to share their thoughts on the subject by voting.  It was simple and straightforward, we asked Montanans the following question:

"Do Montanan's Think Roe Vs Wade Should Be Overturned Or Left Alone?"

I will be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect as far as results, but I will admit that I was a little surprised by the outcome. You see, the results of our Montana Poll were not in line with the National Poll.  In the National Poll, 54 percent of Americans said to leave the law as it is.

However, in our local poll, 63 percent of Montanans say that Roe Vs Wade should be left alone, which is almost 10 percent higher than the national average.

Keep in mind a whole lot of this stuff isn't necessarily scientific and every poll has room for error, but these are certainly interesting results and should spark several conversations regarding the issue.
