Heading into the weekend, the Gallatin County City-County Health Department reports that as of Friday, April 3, 2020, at 5 p.m., the county now has a total of 101 confirmed cases of COVID-19. One coronavirus patient is hospitalized. We've had zero deaths.

In the past 24 hours, eight new cases of the virus have been confirmed. That number is actually down from the previous two days. Here is the current breakdown of COVID-19 cases so far in Gallatin County.

According to these numbers, 50 women have tested positive; 51 men. Interestingly, nearly 50% of those who tested positive for the virus in the county are under 40 years old.

As for the State of Montana, there are now 262 confirmed cases of coronavirus with five deaths.
