Every year several of our local firefighters compete in the Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle. The race involves firefighters from all over the country racing up a skyscraper in full firefighter garb to raise money & awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

This year, however, the race has been postponed due to recent events involving the coronavirus in the Seattle area. With news that the race was cancelled, our local firefighters here in the Gallatin Valley decided  that they still want to do their part in raising awareness for various types of blood cancer.

On Saturday, look for these firefighters racing up the M Trail around 10 a.m. If you're on the trail, too, please give them a cheer and thank them for what they're doing!
