Fiery Crash Dampens Exciting Ending of Daytona 500

Ryan Newman was on his way to winning the 2020 Daytona 500 on Monday when he suddenly found himself being bumped from behind and running into the wall on the final turn. The crash sent Newman to the hospital and Denny Hamlin to the winner's circle.

As of this morning, Newman is listed with serous but not life-threatening injuries. It took crews nearly 10 minutes to get him out of the car. You can watch the crash and the Daytona 500 ending in the video below.
