Country Music Outlaw Jamey Johnson Coming to Billings
Jamey Johnson has one of the most recognizable voices in modern country music. Johnson has also been referred to as "one of the greatest country singers of our time" by the Washington Post.
Jamey Johnson never creates a setlist, so each concert is one-of-a-kind. He says he doesn't know what songs he's going to play until he's standing on the stage.
In 2005, Jamey Johnson released The Dollar, which would be his first single. Johnson has also written a number of songs for other well known country artists. In 2006, he wrote Give It Away for George Strait. In 2007, Johnson co-wrote two songs; Ladies Love Country Boys and I Got My Game On, both of which became huge hits for Trace Adkins.
In 2008, Jamey Johnson released his album, The Lonesome Song, which included the song In Color. Throughout his career, Johnson has received praise from country music purists and has stayed true to his country music influences and roots.
In 2012, Jamey Johnson released the Grammy-nominated Living for a Song: A Tribute to Hank Cochran paired him with Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Ray Price, Elvis Costello, George Strait, Vince Gill, and Merle Haggard.
On Thursday, July 1, Jamey Johnson will perform at the First Interstate Arena at MetraPark in Billings, Montana. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, May 21 at 10:00 a.m. at www.metrapark.com/jamey-johnson.
