Which 5 Montana towns make the list of the fastest-growing?

According to our friends over at Bozeman Real Estate Group, these are the 5 fastest growing towns in Montana and we will start with number 5.

#5 Stevensville, Montana: Stevensville is in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley and has long been known to be a place to enjoy all that Montana has to offer. It has been rumored over the years that multiple celebrities have called the Stevensville area home including Huey Lewis and Hank Williams Jr. Stevensville has seen a population increase of 9.2 percent over the last few years.

#4 Hamilton, Montana: Also in the Bitterroot and just down the road from Stevensville is Hamilton. With small-town charm and a world-class golf course, Hamilton is home to the Daly Mansion as well as the highly guarded Rocky Mountain Laboratories which is a bio-lab located in the middle of town.  Hamilton has seen a population increase of 10 percent in the last few years.

#3 Red Lodge, Montana: Red Lodge is a popular tourist destination thanks to places like Yellowstone National Park and the Beartooth Highway. The small Montana town is known for its charming downtown, skiing, and hospitality. Red Lodge is the most eastern town on our list and has seen a population increase of 11.1 percent in the last few years.

#2 Libby, Montana: Located in the northwestern part of the state, Libby is surrounded by forests and waterways, making it a paradise for those who love the hike, hunt, and fish.. Downtown is charming and the people are friendly. Once known for its contamination, which resulted in the documentary "Libby, Montana" the risk to its residents has been greatly reduced over the years.  Libby has seen a population increase of 11.3 percent in the last few years.

#1 Whitefish, Montana: It probably won't come as a surprise that Whitefish comes in first place. The small resort town is located close to Glacier National Park and is known for its skiing and small-town charm. However, before you decide to pack up and move to Whitefish, you should know that it's not cheap.  The median price for a home is 1.5 million dollars. Whitefish has seen a population increase of 15.1 percent.
