For whatever reason, we as a society are smitten by celebrities. While I am certainly not a celebrity, my profession has allowed me to meet several over the years and I will admit, in the beginning, it was rather thrilling.

However, after a few meetings, you begin to realize that famous or not, celebrities are just like you and me. Some are very nice, some...not so much.

For whatever reason, in my experience, the Country Artists seem to be the nicest and most accessible when it comes to hanging with famous folks.

Keith Urban is extremely kind as is Colin Raye, Thomas Rhett, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, and Craig Morgan. In fact, Craig asked me to be part of the prayer circle they have before each show, which was a super cool moment.

Living here in Montana, we certainly have our share of "Celebrity Sightings" with many of them having part-time residences in the state. One of the things I hear often is that celebrities love living/visiting here because, for the most part, Montanans tend to leave them alone.

Some of the famous people confirmed/rumored to live here in Montana.

  • John Mayer
  • Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel
  • Bill Gates
  • Ted Turner
  • Ben Affleck
  • Tom Brady and Gisele
  • David Letterman
  • Hank Williams Jr
  • Huey Lewis
  • Tom Brokaw
  • Michael Keaton
  • Jeff Bridges
  • Dan Quayle
  • The Kardashians
  • Phil Mickelson
  • Phil Jackson

I will admit, there are a few of those that I would be more stoked about meeting than others.  While he has broken my heart more than once (last years Super Bowl being the latest), I feel like Tom Brady would be super fun to hang out with.

He's hilarious on Twitter and I really enjoy talking Football.  Plus, my wife loves clothes and fashion, so her and Gisele could hang out while Tom and I grill up some Montana steaks.

I will have to have my people check with his people and see when we both have free time on our social calendars.
