Bozeman School Board Votes To Observe MLK Day

Tuesday night, the school board meeting was held for Bozeman School District.  During the meeting, the 2019 school calendar was being discussed and decided upon.  The Board of Trustees have now determined Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be an unscheduled day or a Pupil Instruction Related day.

This means the students will not be in school for Martin Luther King Jr. Day beginning in 2019.  However, teachers will still be working and training.  Martin Luther King Jr. Day falls on January 20th next year.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a federal holiday and observed by Montana state government and Montana State University.
