Bozeman Welcomes Fresh Creative Energy With Two New Local Businesses
As Bozeman grows in population, more businesses seem to follow right along with it. As one of the fastest growing cities in Montana, Bozeman continues to open doors for entrepreneurs who see both opportunity and community here. Lately, two new creative focused businesses have caught my attention.
Calling all artists. A new shop called Threlfall Fine Art Supply is planning to open in early 2026. Located near Baxter and Jackrabbit, this locally owned business is being built with creatives in mind.
From what they have shared so far, their goal is to create a warm and inclusive space for the local art community while offering high quality supplies for artists at every level. What is especially refreshing is that they are actively asking for feedback from local creatives. They want to know what materials you actually use and what you want to see on the shelves.
The second new spot is already open and offering something truly unique. Pulphead is Bozeman’s first late night writers lounge, and it fills a niche many did not even realize was missing. Designed for night owls, creatives, and anyone who does their best thinking after dark, Pulphead is open Wednesday through Saturday from 6 pm until 2 am.
The atmosphere is cozy, quiet, and intentionally built for writing and reading. For 5 bucks, guests can enjoy unlimited tea and coffee while settling in for a productive evening. On top of that, Pulphead is currently hosting a writing contest with a $2,500 prize, giving local writers even more reason to check it out. You can find them at 201 South Wallace, Unit B1B.

The Hell's A-Roarin' Horse Drive
The Hell’s A-Roarin’ Horse Drive happens every Memorial Day weekend in Gardiner, Montana, as hundreds of horses are driven from the rodeo grounds up to the mountain town of Jardine. Hosted by Susan and Warren Johnson of Hell’s A-Roarin’ Outfitters, this Western tradition honors veterans and supports them in a meaningful way. All net proceeds from the event’s live auction go toward purchasing Action Trackchairs—custom, all-terrain wheelchairs that help disabled veterans regain their freedom and access to the outdoors. It’s a powerful mix of community, heritage, and heartfelt purpose.
