Bozeman Deaconess Foundation announced yesterday that it received another $1 million gift toward the Cornerstone Campaign to expand the Emergency Services Department at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. The total raised for this project is $6.3 million. Bozeman Deaconess Foundation’s goal is to raise $9 million of the $15 million required to build the new ER.

The hospital anticipates breaking ground on the new 25 room facility in the spring of 2011 with construction being completed approximately 18 months later. The existing 10 room ER will continue to provide Level III trauma care throughout the construction process. Contributions can be made to Bozeman Deaconess Foundation at or by calling 406-585-1085.
