The Big Sky Fire Department sent a team of firefighters to California last Tuesday, November 13th.   Big Sky Captain Mitch Hamel and Firefighters John Foster, Mike Ketschek, Dave Parker and Seth Nowlin were released from California and have returned home safely.

The firefighters were expected to to be in California for nearly three weeks and unexpectedly came home early.  California is expecting four to six inches of rain later this week that will help extinguish the flames that have already killed 77 people.
