The weather was almost perfect in Bozeman on Saturday, so I decided to make the most of it and go explore something I'd never seen before.

When I first moved to Bozeman, I bought a book titled "Day Hikes Around Bozeman." It's an excellent resource if you enjoy hiking. I flipped through the pages, and found a trail called Middle Cottonwood Creek. I'd never been there, so I decided to check it out.

During the hike we crossed the creek five times. At one point, we even had to take off our shoes in order to cross the creek. All in all, it was a beautiful hike. It was about four miles round trip, and took a little over three hours.
