AM 1450 Mourns Loss of Morning Host
It is with deep sadness that we report our morning show host Dominick Brascia has passed away.
Brascia died of natural causes over the weekend at his Bozeman home. He was 62 years-old.
Each morning on his show, Dominick in the Morning, Brascia blended news and politics mixed with a heavy dose of opinion from himself and his loyal listeners in the greater Gallatin Valley area.
Brascia was often willing to address a variety of topics for his listeners on the air, using a quick wit to create an open platform where ideas were exchanged in a unique way between himself, his on-air guests and callers.
He was a veteran of radio, contributing and hosting on talk format at KNRC in Denver, WERC in Birmingham, KSTE in Sacramento and FOX News blend in Beaumont.
Before embarking on a career in radio, Brascia enjoyed a successful run as an actor. He starred in works such as Friday the 13th: A New Beginning, Knight Rider, Iron Eagle and Night Court among many others.
Scott Souhrada, Market President of Townsquare Media Bozeman, says "it was evident from listening to his show, and from internal conversations, that Dominick was passionate about his show and cared deeply about his audience."
Brascia grew up in New York and has many living relatives in the Tri-State area.
Townsquare Media continues to be in contact with family members and will share any information on memorial services both on-air and online.
We at Townsquare Media will miss his humor, both on-air and around the office, as well as his passion for talk radio.
