Montana State Homecoming Week: Here’s A Rundown Of Everything Happening.
One of the best things about living in Bozeman is the relationship with Montana State University. Sure, there are the games, but it goes so much deeper than that. Never have I seen a town so in love with it's University before, and it's beautiful.
As we prepare for Homecoming Week, there are several activities for both current students and alumni.
Homecoming Week at Montana State University runs September 21st through the 26th. Let's take a look at the different events that are taking place this week:
- Monday the 21st is the The Go Cat's Lighting that will take place between 7pm and 9pm at the North and South Hedges Residence Halls. It should be noted that there will be food and a dance party at the event.
- Tuesday the 22nd is a chance for students to meet their Homecoming Ambassador Candidates at Centennial Mall from noon until 1pm.
- Wednesday the 23rd is the popular "Lighting of the M" that takes place between 7pm and 8pm. Stop by Story Mill Park to enjoy music, popcorn, and beverages.
- Friday the 25th will be fun for all as "The Greatest Show and Bobcat Drone Show" take place. Dyche Field will have food trucks, live music, lawn games, and of course, the light show.
- Saturday the 26th is the Annual Bobcat Homecoming Parade that will kick off downtown at 10 am. However, it is recommended that you get there early if you want to grab a spot with great views.
- Saturday night is the Homecoming Game between MSU and NAU. The game will kick-off at 8:30 pm and if you don't have tickets, you can watch it on ESPN+ or listen on 100.7 XL Country, or the XL Country App.
All in all, it is a full week of activities that gets everyone involved.
