The Gallatin City-County Health Department confirmed two new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, June 1st. In Gallatin County, there are three active cases and a cumulative total of 153.

The health department has identified no travel history in any of those cases, but are continuing investigations. The last case was reported on May 28th and that was the first case in Gallatin County since May 9th.  There are currently no hospitalizations in the county.

For the state of Montana, there are 41 active cases and 4 new cases reported as of June 1st, two in Gallatin County, one in Big Horn County, and one in Yellowstone County.

June 1st also marked the first day of Phase 2 for Montana, which brings gatherings of up to 50 people, the end of the out of state travel 14-day quarantine, and Montana gates open in Yellowstone. Read more about Phase 2 here.
