There are only a few events that happen in a person's life where they always remember what they were doing and where they were when they happened. Today is the 28th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. I lived at that time near Edwards Air Force Base where they used to land the shuttle. I was on the radio that morning and we were broadcasting the liftoff live on the air because many of the people in our listening audience where actually a part of the Shuttle program.

I came across some rare footage today on the internet of some home video that someone shot with their video camera. This was back in the day before we carried phones with cameras and Facebook. It brings back a lot of memories.
