Mail-in voting has created quite the controversy leading up to the 2020 General Election coming up on November 3rd. Back on August 18th, the Gallatin County Commission voted 2-1 to hold the election using mail-in ballot. This was after Governor Steve Bullock announced that he would let local counties make the call.

Ballots, according to the Elections Department will be mailed to active registered voters on Friday, Oct. 9. Beginning that day, the following locations will serve as places of deposit for ballots during their regular business hours through Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
