Toby Keith Readies The ‘Denim & Diamonds’ For Pediatric Cancer

Toby Keith will be in 'Denim and Diamonds' for his upcoming Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic event. The themed fundraiser, which will raise money to build temporary housing for pediatric cancer patients and their families, will be held May 20-21 in Norman, Okla.

Proceeds will be donated to the OK Kids Korral, a foundation started by the Okie. The event has been a staple of Toby's humanitarian efforts for the past eight years.

"We are doing our best to address issues that arise while a child is in treatment, such as weakened immune systems and sensitivity to light," explains Keith on his involvement with the cause. "More than anything, we want it to be a home of inspiration, encouragement and hope."

Toby's involvement with pediatric cancer began after suffering the loss of Allison Webb, the daughter of Keith's friend and original bandmate Scott Webb.
