It's the 70th anniversary of the Three Forks Rodeo this Friday and Saturday (July 15-16) at the rodeo grounds in Three Forks, Montana. Rodeo performances start at 7 p.m., gates open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 6-12, children 5 and under are free. Also, Friday night is Family Night with kids 17 and under getting in free.

Other events that are a part of the Three Forks Rodeo include:

  • Street Dance in downtown Three Forks each night following the rodeo
  • Parade 10 a.m. Saturday - Look for the XL Ram!
  • Fireman's breakfast before the parade, 6:30 - 10:30 a.m.
  • Classic Car Show on Saturday on the Sacajawea lawn
  • Rodeo Dayz Street Fair, all-day Saturday

Also, to  commemorate the 70th annual Three Forks Rodeo and to raise funds for the improvement of the rodeo grounds, TWO custom rifles by Rockie's Gunworks (Rocky Cushman) of Three Forks, Montana, have been commissioned.

One rifle will go to the highest online bidder at noon on Friday, July 15. That winner gets their choice of either the .243 or 7mm.  To bid visit: www.threeforksrodeo.com/rifle-fundraiser/  Online auction begins Friday, July 1 at noon MST and ends Friday July 15 at 11:59 a.m.

The remaining rifle will be given to the lucky raffle ticket holder of our annual rifle raffle at the Saturday rodeo, July 16. Raffle tickets sold in advance at Main Street Office in Three Forks or from members of the rodeo board of directors and during both nights of the rodeo. Ticket prices $1 each or 6 for $5. Drawing will be held Saturday, July 16 prior to the bull riding event.

Rifle #1: ROCKIES custom .243 Winchester with 24 in. Shilen S/S barrel, #2 light contour, 1-10 twist, H-S Precision Pro-Series synthetic stock, glass bedded; ROCKIES custom action patterned after Remington push-feed.

Rifle #2: ROCKIES custom 7mm Rem Mag with 26 in. Shilen S/S barrel, #4 medium contour, 1-9 twist, H-S Precision Pro-Series synthetic stock, glass bedded; ROCKIES custom action patterned after Remington push-feed.
