Not everyone wants to live in a big city.  The lights, the noise, the traffic, the neighbors...all of it can be a bit too much to take.

For many a big town or a small city is the way to go.  You get all of the conveniences without a lot of the hassle. While Montana doesn't officially have a big city, we do have several small ones and a few of those are getting national recognition.

Our friends over at WalletHub came out with a list of The Best Small Cities To Live In America and 4 Montana towns made the list.

Bozeman, which is one of the fastest-growing towns in the nation, scored exceptionally well in a few of the categories, however, the one category that could use a little work was affordability. Out of the 1300 towns on the list, Bozeman ranks 1041st for affordability.

You need to make sure you have the right tires, vehicle, and winter clothing. Plus, I would highly suggest you learn how to drive in winter conditions before moving to a state that celebrates winter 6 months out of the year.

And while winters can be very rough here in Montana, we don't even crack the Top 5 for States With The Most Brutal Winters.
