With Gas prices high (even though they are supposed to come down during the summer), are you going to be travelling this summer?  There are so many things to see and do right here in Montana.

· A third of Americans surveyed said they've already canceled at least one trip this year because of financial concerns.

· Just 42 percent of Americans plan a leisure trip this summer, down from the 49 percent who said they planned to do so three years ago.

· Not surprisingly, the less money you make, the less likely you are to take a vacation.

· More than two-thirds of those in the 100-thousand-dollar-a-year income bracket will take some type of leisure trip this summer.

· 48 percent of those earning between 50-and-100-grand will go on vacation this summer.

· Less than one-third of those with family incomes under 50-thousand will be hitting the road.

· Road trippers are finding ways to economize as well.

· 20 percent of those planning to travel this summer will stay closer to home this year.

And finally, 23 percent will save money by staying with friends or family instead of at a hotel

The number of vacationing Americans will be down this summer, according to a Associated Press poll.
