Strenuous Searching Leads To Human Remains Found. Is It Gabby?

After weeks of searching, human remains have been found in Wyoming. Teton County has been swarmed with FBI agents, searching for 22-year-old Gabby Petito. News came this evening that, although they can not say 100% that the remains found belong to Gabby, the description does fit her. A parent's nightmare is losing a child, especially when there are no answers. In this case, there has not been a determination of cause of death yet. Tuesday is when the autopsy is scheduled.

As a parent myself, I can not imagine what the Petito family is going through. They want their daughter to come home, they were hoping this was not going to be the way it would happen. I think I speak for everyone when I say I hope this is not her. If it is, I pray for answers for her family. This leaves us with another question, where is Gabby's fiancé, Brian Laundrie?

Laundrie has been a person of interest since the beginning of this investigation. Laundrie and Petito had been road tripping through the western part of the US, when something suddenly went wrong. Laundrie returned to Florida on September 1st, WITHOUT his fiancé. So where was Gabby? Still no one knows. Even though Laundrie is not technically wanted for a crime at this time, his lack of assistance in finding Gabby has made him extremely suspicious. And to make things worse, no one knows of Laundrie's whereabouts currently. Conducting searches through Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County, Florida, using federal and local authorities, and blood hounds, no evidence of Laundrie has been located. Laundrie's family has referred all questions to their attorney.
