Montana Lands Two Ski Resorts On Top 10 List
We all have those things we wish we were good at, but aren't.
I know, I know, they say that practice makes perfection, and there is that whole 10 thousand hour rule, where if you do something for 10 thousand hours, you'll be good at it. While that might be true for most people, I'm calling BS on that for me.
As much as I wish I were, I'm just not athletic. For whatever reason, my body won't do the things my mind wants it to do, so there are some activities I've never tried because I know that I would fail miserably at them. At the top of that list?
Snow skiing.
I can hear it already, "How do you live in Montana and have never been skiing?" Listen, I get it, I'm an embarrassment, and I own up to it, but I know darn well even if I hit the bunny slope, I would end up with something either broken or dislocated.

However, for those who are more coordinated than I am (most of the human race), Montana has some world-class skiing. We've all heard of how great Big Sky and Whitefish are when it comes to skiing, but did you know that Montana has two locations that show up on the Top 10 Ski Resorts You Didn't Know Existed and Need To Try
Which Montana Ski Resorts Are Underated?
According to the folks over at World In Your Podcast, they ranked 10 Ski Resorts that aren't as well known, are less crowded, and won't cost you an arm and a leg for a day on the slopes. Oh, and it just so happens that Montana shows up on the list...twice. In fact, both Montana Ski Resorts ended up making the Top 5.
The first spot to show on the list is actually on the border of both Idaho and Montana and is ranked 5th on the list. Lookout Pass has season passes for under 550 right now. So if you're looking to score a deal and plan on doing some shredding this winter, and live in the western part of the state, this is a great deal.
The second spot on the list is ranked 3rd and is in Red Lodge. Red Lodge Mountain not only offers skiing, but it also has other activities throughout the year, like golf and venues for gatherings such as weddings. The resort has several different ticket options, so it is certainly worth checking out.
