The annual St. Jude's Radiothon is set to return this Thursday and Friday on 100.7 XL Country.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which is located in Memphis, Tennessee was founded by entertainer/actor Danny Thomas back in 1962. According to the St. Jude website, when Thomas was a young actor with a child on the way, he made a vow to St. Jude Thaddeus, the patron saint of hopeless causes, and vowed:

"Show me my way in life, and I will build you a shrine."

That "shrine" has turned into a state-of-the-art children's hospital and research center that has made major strides in fighting childhood cancers as well as saving thousands of young lives.

Since the beginning, children have been treated at zero costs to their families. Throw in the fact that St Jude always shares their research with other hospitals and you begin to see just how important the work of St Jude is. St Jude relies on donations from regular people like you and me to make sure that the work continues. These everyday Montanans are called "Angels of Hope" and through their generosity, young lives are saved every single day.

Once again, we all have another chance to make a difference this Thursday and Friday.

St Jude and 100.7 XL Country are again teaming up to bring hope to families across Montana with our annual St Jude Radiothon.  With multiple ways to donate, we continue to fight against childhood cancer. Tune in to listen to incredible stories of strength and hope as we will be hearing from the children of St. Jude, not to mention some of the biggest names in Country Music.

Every single dollar matters and every donation counts. Please join us this Thursday and Friday live on the air or streaming from 6 am until 6 pm as we come together to do our part to end childhood cancer with the St Jude Radiothon, only on 100.7 XL Country.

Thanks to our community businesses for once again showing their support and sponsoring our radiothon. Please support them as we continue the fight against childhood cancer together.
