One of my favorite things is exploring these little towns, seeing all the sights, and learning the history that makes them so special. Of course, I have a list of my favorites, as do most Montanans. I love Livingston, Ennis, Hamilton, to name a few.

I love the feeling of stepping back into yesteryear. Walking up and down the sidewalks and seeing the old signs painted on the buildings, going into the small mom-and-pop stores, and checking out all the unique merchandise.

Which small Montana town made the list of must-see towns in America?

According to a social media site called "Travel Tok" Polebridge, Montana made the list of must-see small towns. Polebridge joined towns such as Hannibal Missouri, Taos New Mexico, and Idaho Springs Colorado.

Polebridge is about 35 northwest of Columbia Falls and just 20 miles south of the Canadian border. The population is sparse with around 30 residents, however, the big claim to fame is the Polebridge Mercantile and Bakery.

It's a one-stop shop, and reminiscent of the Mercentailes in the old days.

You can rent cabins, and different gear, plus get the essentials you need as you visit Glacier National Park. Oh and while you're there, you'll need to have yourself a Huckleberry Bearclaw (it's legendary) from their on-site bakery, as well as other pastries.

Polebridge is only about a mile from Glacier National Park, so it's a popular place for locals and tourists to check out and spend some time in.
