Chicks Restaurant and Bar

Chicks Restaurant and Bar in Alder is a little out of the way but is the perfect place to have a terrific meal if you're spending the day in or around Virginia City. The Saturday night Prime Special is fantastic and the rest of the food is terrific as well, plus the service is top-notch.

The Greek Pastry Shop #1 Gyros

With two locations in Missoula, #1 Gyros is home to some of the best Greek food in the country. Family-owned for over four decades, the Gyros are simply amazing and the Greek Fries are an absolute must, the Baklava is out of this world. If you're spending any time in Missoula, you have to try it for yourself.

The Pekin Noodle Parlor

The oldest Chinese restaurant in the United States is most certainly worthy of a stop if you're in Butte.  For over 100 years, this family-owned business has been serving up delicious Chinese food and that tradition continues today. Recently featured on Good Morning America, the Pekin Noodle Parlor is a huge part of Montana's history.

The Pickle Barrel

You can't go to Bozeman and not have a sandwich from The Pickle Barrel. While there are different locations across the state, the Bozeman location located next to the MSU campus is the Holy Grail for sandwiches in the state of Montana, but be sure to bring your appetite, these sandwiches are huge.

If you love Bar-B-Q then a trip to Paradise Valley is definitely in order. Located in Emigrant and open during the summer months, Follow Yer' Nose is home to some of the best Bar-B-Q in the state of Montana. With different meats that are seasoned and smoked with multiple types of woods, Follow Yer' Nose has some of the best ribs in the United States.

Cattle Barons Supper Club

If you are in or around Glacier National Park, there are several different dining options, however, the Cattle Barons Supper Club is certainly worth checking out.  Located in Babb, Montana, they have an impressive menu and a really cool atmosphere. If a quick meal is what you're looking for, it might not be your best option, but if you're looking to enjoy your dinner and the experience, Cattle Barons Supper Club might just be right up your alley.

Norm's Soda Fountain

Serving up delicious treats since 1938, Norm's in Kalispell is an iconic Montana favorite that has a menu with all of the old-fashioned treats that have been popular for darn near 100 years. From burgers to handmade shakes, floats, and the list goes on and on. Not to mention they have a very impressive candy store that will make anyone feel like a kid again.

Parker's Restaurant

With over 100 different burgers on their menu, Parker's Restaurant in Drummond, Montana will no doubt have the perfect burger for you. Using grass-fed Montana beef, Parker's has some of the most interesting culinary creations you'll find in Montana or the United States. Of course, they don't just do burgers, they also have a full menu of non-burger dishes as well.

This Billings favorite is known for its amazing breakfast and of course, its cinnamon rolls. The portions are large, so it's hard to go away hungry and the service is top-notch. So how good is Stella's? Well, the Restaurant has won Best Breakfast in Billings for a decade and a half. It's a popular spot, so there might be a bit of a wait, but it's worth it.

It's not officially summer until you've made the trip to Livingston and stood in line at Mark's In & Out. In business for almost 70 years, Mark's doesn't just offer up great burgers and shakes, but it has that old-school feel that just makes everything taste better. Open seasonally, folks from all over Montana come and enjoy not only a great meal but a little bit of nostalgia as well.
