Montana had 6,312.25 motorcycle registrations per 100,000 residents, and a total of 68,421 motorcycles were registered in 2021. The state with the highest number of total registrations was California, with 952,977. It's hard to believe that the number of motorcycle riders in California is nearly equal to the entire population of Montana.
