Montana Lands 2 Spots In Top 5 For Best Places To Marry
Getting married is a big deal, at least it can be.
For many, it's a special day that folks want to be perfect. The perfect dress, the perfect cake, the perfect photographer, and the perfect venue.
When I proposed to my wife, I chose a place that I knew she loved. It was in front of an old movie marquee, and up on the sign, it asked if she would marry me. It was a romantic gesture on my part, but it was ruined when we were coming around the corner to see the sign, and the building owner asked me from the balcony if she said yes.

My response? "She hasn't seen the sign yet, but I'll let you know".
Well, she did say yes, and we've been married for years. Best decision I ever made. We had a simple wedding at the same venue where her parents were married, so there wasn't a whole lot of planning on our part, but for some, it can be a lengthy process.
Is Montana a popular place to get engaged and or married?
According to the folks over at Shane Company, a national jeweler, when it comes to picking the "perfect" place to pop the question and or get married, sometimes that it happens to be a National Park. Their data suggests that when it comes to proposing and or marrying in a National Park, two Montana locations make the Top 5.
Of course, we both know which National Parks made the list, but the question is, which one is ranked higher, and where do both of them rank in the Top 5?
The data says that coming in 4th place on the list is Glacier National Park, with over 1.1 million hashtags that either mention engagements or weddings. So, if Glacier is 4th, then where is Yellowstone National Park ranked? Yellowstone is ranked right above Glacier, coming in at 3rd with over 1.3 million hashtags that mention engagements or weddings.
I realize we all have our opinions, but for my money, Glacier is prettier than Yellowstone. Now, I know those are fighting words for some folks, but I love me some Glacier National Park. Oh, and in case you're wondering which National Parks took the Top 2 spots, congratulations to both Yosemite and Zion National Parks.
