Just when we thought that we might actually be seeing some summer weather, mother nature takes a bit of a turn and is going to provide us with our 3rd...or 4th...or 5th winter, but who's counting?

Temperatures over the weekend were beautiful hitting 70 plus degrees, it felt like summer was here. In fact, people were at the local parks tanning and enjoying a dip in the water. But don't put those winter boots away for the season just quite yet.

By Tuesday night (4/16) we could see less rain and sunshine and more snow.

Tuesday evening we could have 1-2 new inches of fresh snow along with wind gusts up to 22 miles per hour according to the National Weather Service. But it doesn't stop there.

Flurries will continue into Wednesday (4/17) with another possible 1-3 inches of fresh new snow by Wednesday evening. The wind will continue to gust through the next few days as well.

If you put your winter clothes away, you may want to make sure you take them back out for at least one more round of winter weather.

By this weekend, we should see some temperatures back in the 40's and 50's with sunny skies.

Last year we experienced almost 9 months of winter, so this late winter storm really isn't anything that should be shocking to anyone who has lived here for any amount of time. For those of you who are new to the area, welcome to Montana, where it snows whenever it wants to.
