Second, if you're dining out, make reservations.

The last thing you want to do is promise a romantic evening and not deliver. Valentine's Day is popular here in Big Sky Country, and reservations fill up quickly, so you don't want to wait too long before you have a spot.

Third, make sure you do something from the heart.

It's easy to buy flowers and a card, however, if you want to score some points, do something original. Whether you make your card or write a poem or some words from the heart, a little effort goes a long way.

Fourth, A little gift goes a long way.
