Valentine's Day is one of those things that I believe is more about the ladies than the fellas, but maybe I'm wrong. When my wife and I got married, I figured the perfect day would be Valentine's Day. That would I wouldn't forget it or my anniversary. Plus, one card.

For those of you Montanans who are throwing up a last-minute Hail Mary pass in hopes that you come up with a wonderful idea, I'm not saying that the fat lady is singing, but she's certainly practicing for the big performance.
While reservations are a must for much of Montana on Valentine's Day, that doesn't mean you still can't get a seat at a restaurant, it just might not be the restaurant of your choice.

While flowers and candy are a big deal for Valentine's, it seems that dinner is the most searched-for item and here in Montana, one type of cuisine leads all others. So, what do Montanans want to eat this Valentine's Day? Beef? Bison? Bar-B-Q?
According to Google Trends, the most searched restaurant type in Montana for Valentine's is Italian. I mean, nothing says love like a meal full of pasta, breadsticks, and lots of butter and sauce.
Montana is no stranger to Italian Restaurants one of the best restaurants in The Treasure State is an Italian place in Helena. Lucca's receives rave reviews from not only customers but food critics alike.
Lucca's isn't the only great Italian place though. Campione in Livingston, Ciao Mambo in Billings, O'Bella in Anaconda, and Florabella in Missoula are all top-notch. And for those looking to keep it under a certain amount, well, there's always Olive Garden.
