Times have changed since I was a kid.

Growing up in the late 80s, I couldn't wait to get a job. The idea of being able to work, make money, and buy what I wanted sounded like total freedom to me. I started working summer jobs at 15, and I think I've worked ever since.

Nowadays, I guess things are different.

The youth of today, I'm told, doesn't have the same work ethic that my generation had. Which is crazy, because I hear about all of these jobs around Bozeman and Montana that are offering 20 dollars and up to start.

Now, a summer job can mean a lot of different things. You can mow yards, babysit, work at the pool, or work at a fast-food place. I mowed yards for a bit, worked at a fast food joint, and got myself a Missouri State Fair gig for a few years that was a whole lot of fun.
