Montana Governor Steve Bullock ordered the closing of all public K-12 schools in the state for two weeks. The measure was announced on Sunday in response to the global outbreak of COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus. During this time, schools will engage in planning to provide free meals to students who need them. As of right now, schools are ordered to close through March 27th.

The governor also suspended visitation at nursing homes for all visitors and non-essential healthcare providers, except as for certain compassionate care situations.
